Internet Resources - Writing Links & Links for Writers. Just what the title says: a mammoth collection of links related to writing.
Absolute Write. Tons of resources for all types of writing, including columns, articles, announcements and message boards.
Writing Corner. Again, a lot of resources including a very thorough list of links to publisher's web sites, links to agent's web sites and lots of articles on subjects that might be of interest such as copyright laws, writing query letters and writing synopses.
Tim Sheppard's Storytelling Resources for Storytellers. Everything you could possibly want to know about telling stories.
Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. This site contains much that is of use to writers in other genres, including model contracts, lots of articles about writing by some fairly well-known writers, as well as the "Writer Beware" page, which details literary scams. Well worth the visit.
Common Errors in English. A very useful site that focuses on words that are often misused or mixed up with other words, as well as some idioms. The focus is on homonyms/homophones and their meanings.
CUNY WriteSite's General Grammar References. No-nonsense explanations of things of a grammatical nature with plenty of straight-forward examples. Pretty spiffy site design too.
Punctuation Made Simple. Straight-forward no-nonsense guide to punctuation.
The Slot: A Spot for Copy Editors. Bill Walsh's guide to pet peeves, common mistakes and tons of other information that will really help you edit your work. Walsh is an editor with the Washington Post.
Minotaur's Sex Tips for Slash Writers. No-nonsense guide to the mechanics of writing slash by Minotaur, our wonderful host, as well as tons of other information. It's quite explicit.
MQA - Searchable Database of Sex Tips for Slash Writers. Minotaur's Q&A Database. All the answers you are likely to need and if you can't find something, you could always submit a question of your own ;-).
Online Edition of Lavender Blue: How to Write and Sell Gay Men's Erotica by Lars Eighner. Pretty much what the title says. Very useful reference.
Velvet Mafia - Dangerous Queer Fiction. Queer fiction and erotica. Accepts submissions from female writers.
Blithe House Quarterly. A site for gay short fiction. Features gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered authors.
Forbidden Fruit - a new original slash webzine.
Sometimes it's good to be bilingual... because while I haven't yet found any good English original slash archives, there are a few German sites that are either dedicated to original slash or in which original slash features prominently. Here you go: German language original slash. Yummy.
